2016 March 30 From: Terry Ann Sent: 3/29/2016 8:40 PM To: Hillary Supporters Subject: Feeling Left Out? Many of us Hillary lovers are women, a lot of us are older, so we don’t have the energy to leap around making a fuss like Bernie people do. Misogyny aside, we are feeling left out. Who wants to vote for a woman anyway? Certainly not many white guys with their unearned male privilege, and WA is chock full of those. I have nothing to say to female Bernie people. They either have not been on the planet long enough to know what they’re talking about or do not recognize the sorry state of our gender inequality, the need for including all races, all walks of life, all genders, all faiths, and all who are disenfranchised for a billion reasons. Hillary is the only candidate searching out the stories of these people and doing everything she can to help them, all over the country. I’m afraid Bernie’s free college and single payer health plan does not move me. Not going to be at all simple to implement after throwing away everything Obama has accomplished through hard work and reaching across the aisle whenever ALLOWED to. There are people out there grieving for dead family members who were victims of senseless gun violence and police profiling. Hillary is the ONLY candidate who can crush the NRA. Bernie rather ignores all this while still claiming to be against gun violence. He isn’t talking about it unless someone else brings it up. Same with foreign policy. Bernie’s is five words long: “I voted against the Iraq war.” Hillary’s knowledge of government and foreign affairs is so vast it defies anyone to match it. She will hit the ground running and need no learning curve. Bernie really has no idea what he’s getting into with the Republicans, who have thus far given him a free ride on their Hillary Hate, holding back their anti-Semitism and “commie” references to Bernie for a later time when it suits their purposes. And he is pretending he doesn’t notice while helping them smear his competitor even further. She IS VERY LIKELY going to be our next President and deserves a hell of a lot more respect than the current political climate will even allow, despite her huge lead. Hillary’s ahead for a reason Hillary really has led the charge for women’s rights since the ‘60s while Bernie makes a show of support with no action to back it up; she reaches a far more diverse group of Americans NO ONE ELSE RUNNING HAS EVEN BOTHERED TO TALK TO and has no desire to put rich people’s kids through college on a national tax. In fact, she just wants more kids to LIVE to college age! She wants to help them attain an affordable college education without debt, the way we used to. She’ll go after anyone who gets in her way. She commands huge speaking fees because she has earned them. She donates it all to the Clinton Foundation. She owes NOTHING to the people who ask her to speak and has made that crystal clear. She gets picked apart for things no one bats an eye about a man doing. As far back as EVE, women have been vilified and called untrustworthy. It’s all bullpucky and so disrespectful it hurts my heart. Clearly, Hillary is much stronger than I am and keeps on going no matter what. No headlines, no social media, no TV ads, no nothing tells the truth: that Hillary is winning!!!!! Has been for weeks on end! It’s just ignored! So in order to get the Dem gang together behind one candidate, well it’s easy if Bernie’s the nominee: everyone will vote Blue. Period. Done deal. It’s Hillary’s nomination that remains to be seen as a problem because Bernie supporters commonly refuse to even admit Hillary is a person of worth, let alone the greatest candidate ever. If they don’t start shutting up and reading up on Hillary, we’re going to have a lot of Bernie’s grass-roots “momentum” die in a ditch once she is nominated. Anyone who doesn’t see how stupid that is and where it will lead doesn’t deserve to vote Blue at all. Bernie followers will have to check their sexism at the door, get educated on the truth about Hillary Clinton instead blindly by believing the vitriol pushed by the Republican party for 30 years — and now is not a minute too soon.
